Business Intelligence is techniques for transforming data into information. This information helps to make quick decisions. It basically means the process of understanding the complex data work, allocating it, analyzing it and setting up a proper report that will help in business decisions.

Msbi has three components they are:
1. SQL severs integration service (integration tool)
2. SQL severs analyzing service (analyzing tool)
3. SQL server for reporting service. (Reporting tool)
